В текущем учебном году в школах республики по данным «Чувашского республиканского института образования» изучают:
🔸Чувашский язык — около 73,5 % школьников 1-11 классов, в том числе: ⬛️родной чувашский язык - 50,1%, ⬛️государственный язык Чувашской Республики - чувашский язык - 23,4%;
🔸Родной русский язык - 41,2 % школьников;
🔸Родной татарский язык - чуть более 2 % школьников;
🔸Для 30 школьников организовано изучение родного мордовского (эрзянского) языка.
