Почтили память жертв радиации в сквере города Челябинска на улице Кирова, где 12 лет назад был заложен камень на месте, выбранном под памятник.

В результате данной радиационной аварии, которую принято считать первой в СССР, образовался Восточно-Уральский радиоактивный след, более 80 тыс. людей подверглись воздействию радиации, 23 населенных пункта были отселены.

С учетом того, как южноуральцы и наша область настрадались от радиации все разговоры о строительстве Южноуральской АЭС выглядят как издевательство над памятью и здравым смыслом.
