The SDF and other non-state actors also pose threat to HTS as do many within its ranks. An Islamic State resurgence is immanent.
HTS only has Turkey Russia and Saudi to fall back on. Saudi is not a reliable ally. As for Turkey its economy is frankly in the gutter and its project will not last long.
