В октябре 2022 года Вишневский получил 8 лет колонии строгого режима и штраф в размере 21 млн рублей, за дачу взятки экс-главе Госстройнадзора Кузбасса Танзиле Комковой, а апелляционный суд увеличил штраф до 70 млн. Уже в январе 2024 года Вишневский был переведен на принудительные работы.
Пожар в ТЦ «Зимняя вишня» произошел 25 марта 2018 года и унес жизни 60 человек, большинство из которых — дети. Было возбуждено четыре уголовных дела, по которым 15 фигурантов получили реальные сроки — от 5 до 18 лет лишения свободы. На сегодняшний день 10 из них уже вышли на свободу. @ctrs2018

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. "There are several million Russians who can lift their head up from propaganda and try to look for other sources, and I'd say that most look for it on Telegram," he said. The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. This provided opportunity to their linked entities to offload their shares at higher prices and make significant profits at the cost of unsuspecting retail investors.
