Для взятия икры использовано 472 самки и 414 самцов в возрасте от 5 до 10 лет, выращенных на Онежском рыбоводном заводе подведомственного Росрыболовству ФГБУ «Главрыбвод». Производители возвращены в бассейны, их состояние удовлетворительное.
На инкубацию заложено 209,95 тыс. штук оплодотворенной икры кумжи (форели). Полученную молодь выпустят в реки региона для восполнения популяции.
