Северодвинский мост в Архангельске – самый северный разводной мост в мире.

Длина сооружения – 1094 метров. Мост включает автомобильную часть, пешеходный переход, а для поездов это – единственная возможность попасть в центр города.

Мост обладает самой большой вертикальной подъемной системой в России, длина разводного пролета – 88 метров. Его поднимают круглый год, так как навигация через реку не прекращается.

Мост открылся в 1964 году, 60 лет назад. Чтобы сооружение и дальше исправно служило, Мостоотряд-47 (входит в Нацпроектстрой) в прошлом году завершил его капитальный ремонт.

Конструкции моста покрасили, заменили опорные части и деформационные швы, усилили пролетные строения. Обновили подъемные механизмы: теперь, в экстренных случаях, судоходный пролет можно «развести» вручную, благодаря системе домкратов.

Просто невероятно: многотонную конструкцию смогут поднять всего 20 человек.
