دادستان عمومی و انقلاب ماهان از بازداشت راننده اتوبوس و مدیرعامل شرکت حمل‌ونقل به دلیل حادثه واژگونی اتوبوس دانش‌آموزان کرمانی خبر داد.
وی اعلام کرد که این دو نفر از روز بعد از وقوع حادثه تاکنون در بازداشت به سر می‌برند و همچنین مدیر مدرسه نیز تحت نظارت قضایی قرار گرفته است.
بررسی‌های اولیه نشان می‌دهد که اتوبوس دچار نقص فنی مستمر بوده و یکی از چرخ‌های عقب آن از ابتدا فاقد سیستم ترمز بوده است. این موضوع نشان‌دهنده ضعف جدی در نظارت بر ایمنی وسایل نقلیه و رعایت استانداردهای حمل‌ونقل است.
مقامات قضایی و انتظامی همچنان در حال بررسی ابعاد مختلف این حادثه تلخ هستند تا عوامل مقصر شناسایی و با آن‌ها برخورد قانونی صورت گیرد.
