На этом месте находится здание бывшей обувной фабрики «Луч», построенное еще в 1915 году. Несмотря на статус объекта культурного наследия, здание будет отреставрировано и адаптировано под современные нужды.
Инвестором проекта выступил Александр Антропенко, директор компании «Основа Холдинг». По его словам, на месте фабрики появится новый комплекс площадью 21,5 тысяч кв. м.
Проект пятизвездочной гостиницы обсуждается с 2019 года, а его стоимость оценивается в 4 млрд рублей.

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. "For Telegram, accountability has always been a problem, which is why it was so popular even before the full-scale war with far-right extremists and terrorists from all over the world," she told AFP from her safe house outside the Ukrainian capital.
