Начав работу судьей в 1970, он в 1986 возглавил Мосгорсуд. Еще через три года назначен председателем ВС РСФСР. В 1991 назначен, в 1999, 2007 и 2012 переназначен на должность председателя ВС РФ.
Для меня он олицетворял преемственность советского и российского правосудия - судебной власти, выполняющей подчиненную, вспомогательную функцию по отношению к власти исполнительной.

Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. This provided opportunity to their linked entities to offload their shares at higher prices and make significant profits at the cost of unsuspecting retail investors. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender.
