Госдума поддержала переименование Ростова в Ростов Великий
Депутаты Госдумы приняли в первом чтении законопроект о возвращении городу Ростов в Ярославской области исторического названия Ростов Великий.
Заместитель председателя областной Думы Антон Капралов отметил, что для жителей города и всей страны Ростов «всегда был, есть и остается Ростовом Великим». Он уточнил, что инициатива принадлежит местным жителям, а губернатор Ярославской области Михаил Евраев ее поддержал.
Местным жителям не потребуется менять действующие паспорта, но в новых документах будет указано обновленное название. Вывески с прежним наименованием сохранятся, однако при их ремонте или замене будет использоваться «Ростов Великий».
