Раис республики Рустам Минниханов по приглашению катарской стороны посетил город Доха, где у него состоялась встреча с Эмиром Государства Катар Тамимом бен Хамад Аль Тани.
Рустам Минниханов подчеркнул, что Россия придает большое значение взаимодействию с исламским миром, Организацией исламского сотрудничества, пригласил компании Катара к участию в инвестиционных проектах в Татарстане. В частности обсудили некоторые конкретные направления, в которых видится взаимный интерес.
Также состоялась беседа Рустама Минниханова с вице-президентом Объединенных Арабских Эмират Мансуром ибн Зайд аль-Нахайяном о вопросах сотрудничества и работе в рамках Группы стратегического видения «Россия-исламский мир». В скором времени должно состояться выездное заседание.
