Говорите о шпионаже, говорите о духе времени, говорите о юбилее, говорите о заговоре.... но назовите-таки мне причину этого. Я не в первый раз наблюдаю подобные совпадения в издательском деле, но до сих пор не придумал для себя любимой теории.

Результаты продаж в США мне неизвестны. В Британии с осени стали продавать. Релизы почти столь же кучны, и явно каннибализировали друг друга:

Members of the public who suspect that they have been approached by unauthorised firms or individuals offering schemes that promise unrealistic returns The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. But the Ukraine Crisis Media Center's Tsekhanovska points out that communications are often down in zones most affected by the war, making this sort of cross-referencing a luxury many cannot afford. The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences.
