Компания «А-Проперти» возобновила планы строительства собственной железнодорожной ветки от Эльгинского угольного месторождения к побережью Охотского моря. Дорогу и порт на побережье собираются ввести в эксплуатацию в 2025 году.
Строительство будет вестись целиком за собственные средства «А-Проперти». Компания построит ж/д магистраль в партнерстве с «Энергогрупп» гендиректора УК «Эльгауголь», доля которого в комплексе, куда войдут строящаяся частная Тихоокеанская железнодорожная дорога и порт Эльга, составит 20%.
В РЖД сообщили, что дополнительное развитие железнодорожной инфраструктуры БАМа на участке Тында — Комсомольск-на-Амуре будут обсуждаться при формировании третьего этапа строительства Восточного полигона.
