Греко-католическая уния была создана на западной Украине для того, чтобы вытеснить православную Церковь с тех территориий. По-сути это политический раскол, полумера для того, чтобы насильно православных подчинить Римской церкви оставив византийский обряд. Те кто принял унию всегда были недокатолики для католиков и раскольники для православных. И вот их община в Сибири, это странное явление.
