К сожалению для них, отыграть отставание им не удалось: вторая часть для них также не задалась, и в итоге Федосеев и Аронян остались за бортом основных событий. Теперь Федосееву и Ароняну предстоит разыграть 9-10 места, а остальные участники примут участие в основной сетке плей-офф.
Больше всего очков в отборе набрали Жавохир Синдаров и Алиреза Фирузджа, которому удалось обыграть Синдарова в последнем туре. Чистое третье место у Фабиано Каруаны; следом финишировали Магнус Карлсен и Хикару Накамура.
Четвертьфиналы, а также поединок за 9-10 место пройдут уже завтра, 9 февраля.

Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. Telegram was founded in 2013 by two Russian brothers, Nikolai and Pavel Durov.
