2 сентября члены и сторонники хабаровского отделения ЛПР собрались на пикник, посвящённый обсуждению предстоящих выборов мэра Хабаровска. На пикник пообещали приехать два кандидата на этот пост: Михаил Сидоров и Вениамин Стельмах. Вениамин приехал, выступил перед нами и ответил на все вопросы. Михаил, к сожалению, до нас не доехал.

Тем не менее, для нас было очень ценно насладиться жареным мясом, последним по-летнему тёплым днём, и взаимным общением.

Meanwhile, while the price of WTI crude oil slipped from Sunday’s multiyear high $130 of barrel to $109 a pop. Markets have been expecting heavy restrictions on Russian oil, some of which the U.S. has already imposed, and that would reduce the global supply and bring about even more burdensome inflation. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government.
