Известному дагестанскому дзюдоисту Камалу Хан-Магомедову дали возглавить национальную команду Бахрейна.
За годы спортивной карьеры воспитанник дагестанской школы дзюдо побеждал на мировых и европейских чемпионатах, входил в состав мужской сборной России. Сейчас Хан-Магомедову 38 лет, как тренер он успел поработать два года с женской сборной России.
Отметим, что Бахрейн приглашает на работу многих дагестанских спортсменов. Олимпийским чемпионом по вольной борьбе в составе этой страны стал Ахмед Тажудинов, а многие годы руководит сборной Бахрейна по смешанным единоборствам Эльдар Эльдаров.
