На видео Капитан Игорь Вечканов — он командовал танковой ротой под ураганным огнем. В районе вокзала его танк застревает в яме. Отчаявшись выбраться, Вечканов вызывает огонь артиллерии на себя. Один снаряд падает совсем рядом, с помощью образовавшейся воронки он сумел выбраться.
Майкопская бригада и 81-й МСП почти полностью погибли в ночь с 31 декабря на 1 января 1995 года.
