Водитель грузовика после наезда на людей вышел из машины и начал стрелять, полиция открыла ответный огонь. Информации о задержании преступника пока не было, возможно, ему удалось скрыться.

Число погибших в результате теракта предварительно 12 человек, пострадали около 50 человек. По данным американских СМИ, преступник планировал также устроить взрыв — сотрудники ФБР на месте обнаружили самодельные взрывные устройства.
