На днях глава ковидного госпиталя в Златоусте Челябинской области Ринат Фахаргалеев обратился к жителям города с просьбой принести в медучреждение постельное белье, одноразовую посуду и питьевую воду. Ковидных больных в Златоусте по-прежнему очень много и, судя по всему, рассчитывать на поддержку городских властей им не приходится.
Однако, региональные власти тоже не спешат оказывать помощь своим подведомственным учреждениям. Похоже, глава регионального Минздрава Юрий Семёнов обделил больницу финансированием.
Одна надежда нагубернатора Алексея Текслера и его красноречие. Быть может ему удастся объяснить Семёнову, что работу нужно работать.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities.
