Роботи над ним в 90-их роках здійснювали скульптори П. Подолець і В. Стасюк, а також архітектор В. Ковальчук. Цікавим є те, що в той час навіть був проведений конкурс на найкращий проект. Монумент вийшов монументальним і похмурим - в "кращих" традиціях радянської школи скульптури.

Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. This provided opportunity to their linked entities to offload their shares at higher prices and make significant profits at the cost of unsuspecting retail investors.
