Иркутская область получила награду за технологичные библиотеки
📚Минкульт РФ отметил Иркутскую область за самые технологичные модельные библиотеки, созданные в рамках нацпроекта «Культура». Награду вручили в Москве на форуме «Культурная перезагрузка».
📈Министр культуры региона Олеся Полунина поблагодарила библиотекарей за работу и напомнила, что за шесть лет в области модернизировали 24 библиотеки на федеральные средства, ещё семь – по областной программе. В этом году в рамках нацпроекта «Семья» появятся ещё четыре модельные библиотеки – в Иркутске, Братске, Тулуне и посёлке Тыреть.
📖Сейчас в области работают десятки таких библиотек, больше всего – в Братске. Иркутская область занимает 5-е место в России по их числу, а посещаемость с 2019 года выросла на 66%.

Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today." At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Although some channels have been removed, the curation process is considered opaque and insufficient by analysts. Now safely in France with his spouse and three of his children, Kliuchnikov scrolls through Telegram to learn about the devastation happening in his home country.
