17 ноября стартовал отсчёт третьего года эксплуатации международной железнодорожной переправы через реку Амур «Нижнеленинское (РФ, ЕАО) –Тунцзян (КНР)». Регулярное движение поездов здесь началось 16 ноября 2022 года.
За десять месяцев 2024 года в экспортно-импортном сообщении по трансграничному переходу Нижнеленинское – Тунцзян перевезено 4,6 млн тонн (рост в 1,8 раза к показателям 2023 года), в том числе уголь – 3,1 млн тонн (рост в 1,6 раза), железная руда – 1,4 млн тонн (рост в 2,4 раза).
С ноября 2022 года - начала эксплуатации перехода - общий грузооборот превысил 8,5 млн тонн. При этом нагрузка на мост еще не достигла предельной отметки. В год по данному маршруту допускается перевозить до 20 млн тонн.
