26 ноября 2024 г. в ИНИОН РАН состоялся всероссийский экспертный круглый стол «Конфликтные пространства Большой Евразии: проблемы и перспективы». Мероприятие было организовано Отделом Ближнего и Постсоветского Востока совместно с Центром междисциплинарных исследований.

Участники круглого стола выступили с докладами, посвященными актуальному состоянию и перспективам преодоления кризисов и межгосударственных противоречий на Евразийском пространстве с точки зрения науки о международных отношениях, политической географии, философии и социологии.

Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. These administrators had built substantial positions in these scrips prior to the circulation of recommendations and offloaded their positions subsequent to rise in price of these scrips, making significant profits at the expense of unsuspecting investors, Sebi noted. After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app.
