Четвёртый евразийский женский форум открылся в Петербурге накануне и завершит свою работу 20 сентября.
На открытии мероприятия в Таврическом дворце выступил президент России Владимир Путин. Он отметил, что этот форум – одна из наиболее авторитетных площадок международного уровня, где демонстрируют потенциал и возможности современных женщин.
В этом году на форум приехало более полутора тысяч женщин из 126 стран. В рамках форума пройдёт более ста мероприятий – заседания, встречи, дискуссии. Основная тема – «Укрепление доверия и глобальное сотрудничество».

Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. The fake Zelenskiy account reached 20,000 followers on Telegram before it was shut down, a remedial action that experts say is all too rare. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early-morning hours of February 24, targeting several key cities with military strikes. To that end, when files are actively downloading, a new icon now appears in the Search bar that users can tap to view and manage downloads, pause and resume all downloads or just individual items, and select one to increase its priority or view it in a chat.
