Древнеримский(!) водяной насос, Испания, датировка — I век н.э.

Найден в античной шахте рядом с городом Сотиэль-Коронада, Андалусия, юго-запад Испании. Сделан из бронзы. Использовался для разрушения струей воды нагретой огнем породы.

Хоть убейте, но выглядит эта штука как напорный насос времен начала промышленной революции, век эдак XVIII или даже XIX. Снимаю шляпу перед римскими инженерами и конструкторами!

That hurt tech stocks. Markets have been expecting heavy restrictions on Russian oil, some of which the U.S. has already imposed, and that would reduce the global supply and bring about even more burdensome inflation. Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early-morning hours of February 24, targeting several key cities with military strikes. But the Ukraine Crisis Media Center's Tsekhanovska points out that communications are often down in zones most affected by the war, making this sort of cross-referencing a luxury many cannot afford.
