В январе 2023 года EFE заказала 3 двунаправленных дизель-поезда Prosper VLT в двухвагонной составности. Стоимость контракта составила $15 млн. Для компании он стал первым экспортным заказом на поставку рельсового подвижного состава.

Дизель-поезда должны быть доставлены в конце этого года. Они предназначаются для курсирования по узкоколейной линии протяженностью 88 км, связывающей города Конститусьон и Талька. Заявляется, что Prosper VLT смогут перевозить 223 пассажиров, включая 80 мест для сидения. Кресла можно будет поворачивать по ходу движения.

Marcopolo Rail вышла на рынок рельсовой техники в конце 2020 года, представив прототип Prosper VLT. Компания предлагает заказчикам данную модель в двух-, трех-, четырехвагонной составности с различными видами тяги.
