There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike.
