۶۰ هزار تن برنج تقلبی هندی که در دولت مرحوم رئیسی توسط شرکت جاهد وابسته به وزارت جهاد کشاورزی کارهای واردات آن آغاز شده بود، در دولت مسعود پزشکیان در آستانه دریافت مجوز و ورود به سبد غذایی ایرانی‌ها است.
این شرکت پیشتر اعلام کرده بود که برنج درجه یک باسماتی ۱۱۲۱ هندی را به ارزش ۶۰ میلیون یورو وارد کشور خواهد کرد اما با واردات برنج بی کیفیت تقلبی به ارزش ۲۷ میلیون یورو، فساد ۳۳ میلیون یورویی در این قرارداد صورت گرفته است.
