В ночь артисты мчали на «Киа Карнивал» и случайно налетели на посторонний предмет на трассе в штате Нью-Мексико. Далее в ДТП попали ещё несколько авто по «эффекту домино». На место аварии прибыли сотрудники дорожных служб и полиция. Позже иномарку артистов эвакуировали.
По словам самого Чебаткова, авария могла закончиться серьёзными последствиями для комиков, их «спасли» габариты автомобиля. Евгений отметил, что у их машины сильно пострадали колёса, но у других авто повреждения намного сильнее.
