Впечатления от первого эпизода «Дома Дракона» — ну, окей… Вроде те же помпезные декорации и присущая фэнтезийному Средневековью атмосфера с жестокостью, кровищей, сексом, но за внешней оболочкой нет самого главного — цепляющей истории. Удивляться нечему: драконов видели, масштабную геополитическую борьбу за Железный трон — тоже… Сеттинг до боли знаком.
Если вспомнить пилотную серию «Игры престолов» с ее проблематикой, драматургией, событиями, то «Дом Дракона» представляется ее блеклой версией. Так, открывающий эпизод фокусируется исключительно на конфликте братьев Таргариенов, больше нет НИЧЕГО. С такой динамикой история рискует совсем скоро зайти в тупик, а сюжет остаться вторичным вариантом культового сериала.
