1630 лет назад, 17 января 395 года по Рождестве Христовом, Римская Империя разделилась на Восточную и Западную. Вскоре после этого последняя пала, расколовшись на множество мелких государств. А Второй Рим, Византия, продолжила свой долгий исторический путь, как мировой оплот Православия.
🇷🇺В 988-м мы станем восприемниками от Второго Рима и нашей святой веры, и многих традиций, и, чуть позже, формы Самодержавного правления.
Пройдёт ещё пять столетий — и Второй Рим падёт, но Православное Имперское знамя поднимет наша Святая Русь, Рим Третий. А четвёртому Риму — не бывать!

Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today." Groups are also not fully encrypted, end-to-end. This includes private groups. Private groups cannot be seen by other Telegram users, but Telegram itself can see the groups and all of the communications that you have in them. All of the same risks and warnings about channels can be applied to groups.
