Ближе к вечеру туда приехала 24-летняя россиянка Камилла Беляцкая, поднялась на скалу, развернула коврик для йоги и села любоваться волнами. Одна из них сбила девушку с камня и затянула под воду. Всё случилось на глазах очевидцев.

Спасатели попытались помочь туристке, но не успели — все спасательные плавсредства переместили в ангар, чтобы уберечь от шторма.
