Уже можно приобрести пластиковые карты для оплаты общественного транспорта.

О них было заявлено 20 декабря после долгих мучений и «забавных аргументов».

Возможно новые карты YES — половинчатое решение потому, что на них присутствует QR-код и какой-то значок, похожий на оплату NFC.

Если платить надо будет именно QR-кодом, а не бесконтактно — то это толка от этой карты немного потому, что все равно будет завязано на Telcell. Не работает Telcell — не будет работать и карта.

Карты должны быть магнитными, при помощи чипов оплата должна происходить независимо от Telcell. Как это сделано в других городах, о которых мы уже писали.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a driving force in markets for the past few weeks. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. During the operations, Sebi officials seized various records and documents, including 34 mobile phones, six laptops, four desktops, four tablets, two hard drive disks and one pen drive from the custody of these persons. In the past, it was noticed that through bulk SMSes, investors were induced to invest in or purchase the stocks of certain listed companies.
