Объем накопленных на свалке отходов превышал 200 тысяч кубометров, на площади 2,3 гектаров. Отходы отсортированы и вывезены, а территория очищена и рекультивирована.
В 2023 году также ликвидировали свалку «Суздальские высоты», где содержались опасные химические вещества, на площади более семи гектаров.
«Специалисты взяли пробы воздуха, воды и почвы, результаты подтвердили, что теперь земельные участки, на которых раньше размещались несанкционированные свалки, безопасны для природы и людей», — рассказал министр природных ресурсов и экологии России Александр Козлов.
