На острове Бейбітшілік открыли детскую железную дорогу протяженностью 2 км. Теперь здесь курсирует тепловоз с тремя вагонами, вмещающими 70 человек. В первый день проезд был бесплатным, пассажиры получили сладкие подарки.
Дорогу запустили в Семее в 1979 году. Но в 1995 году ее закрыли, она была практически разрушена. И вот, спустя 29 лет, детская железная дорога обрела вторую жизнь и стала уникальной культурно-образовательной площадкой для детей и подростков, сообщил городской акимат.
