Отвечая на соответствующий вопрос журналистов, официальный представитель ведомства Линь Цзянь заявил, что Китай и Россия, как две крупные державы, обладают мощным импульсом изнутри в своих отношениях и не подвержены влиянию какой-либо третьей стороны. Стратегии развития и внешняя политика обоих государств, констатировал дипломат, рассчитаны на долгосрочную перспективу. Их взаимодействие будет спокойно развиваться, независимо от изменений в международной обстановке. Линь Цзянь заключил, что усилия Соединенных Штатов посеять раздор между КНР и РФ абсолютно бесперспективны.
