На химическом заводе BioLab компании KIK Consumer Product (Коньерс, штат Джорджия, США) произошел сильный пожар.
Эвакуированы 17 тыс. жителей, перекрыты несколько автомобильных дорог.
Агентство по чрезвычайным ситуациям штата Джорджия издало распоряжение населению перейти в укрытия, не покидать помещения, закрыть окна, выключить кондиционеры и системы вентиляции.

Завод производит бытовую химию для плавательных бассейнов и спа. За последние семь лет это уже третий по счету пожар на предприятии.
Пожар вызван срабатыванием спринклерной системы пожаротушения, в результате которого вода вступила в реакцию с химическими реагентами.

Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. To that end, when files are actively downloading, a new icon now appears in the Search bar that users can tap to view and manage downloads, pause and resume all downloads or just individual items, and select one to increase its priority or view it in a chat. Oleksandra Matviichuk, a Kyiv-based lawyer and head of the Center for Civil Liberties, called Durov’s position "very weak," and urged concrete improvements.
