По данным следствия, в ночь на 27 декабря задержанный в состоянии алкогольного опьянения проник в чужой дом, где начал стрелять в потолок. Затем он продолжил ходить по поселению, а встретив участкового, забежал в дом знакомого, откуда начал стрельбу на улицу.
