Ливадийская ГЭС была построена реке Осетр около деревни Ливадия в середине 60-х годов по проекту института "Гидропроект" одновременно с плотиной в г.Зарайске. В этом месте по реке проходит граница Московской и Рязанской областей.
Сохранились сооружения плотины, здание ГЭС и остатки оборудования внутри. Рядом есть выходы на поверхность залежей цветной глины — красной, желтой и зеленой. Если подняться по каменной лестнице за плотиной, то можно увидеть небольшую брошенную турбазу.
Ливадийская ГЭС - излюбленное место отдыхающих и рыбаков. Река после плотины достаточно глубокая, можно купаться.
