В Московское РУВД г. Бреста поступило сообщение от 64-летнего охранника одного из магазинов, что мужчина прошел через кассу, не оплатив покупки.
Правоохранители оперативно прибыли на место. Выяснилось, что кражу совершил 31-летний местный житель, ранее судимый за имущественные преступления и не имеющий постоянной работы. Он вошел в торговый зал, сложил в пакет дорогие продукты, алкоголь и косметику, а затем попытался пройти мимо кассы, не заплатив. Когда охранник его заметил, мужчина попытался сбежать, но был задержан. Ущерб магазину составил более 740 рублей.
Задержанный признался сотрудникам милиции, что не работает и занимается мелкими кражами. Похищенные товары он планировал продать, а деньги использовать на личные нужды.
Все похищенное было изъято. В отношении мужчины возбуждено уголовное дело за кражу.

At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback.
