Депутат Алексей Журавлев заявил, что в России в армии должны служить все: «Причем, я вообще поднял бы призывной возраст не до 30 лет, как предлагается сделать сейчас, а до 40, а то и до 50».
Парламентарий свою точку зрения аргументировал тем, что «те, кому далеко за…держат сейчас оборону на фронте, и неплохо, надо сказать справляются, раз украинское контрнаступление до сих пор так и не имело успехов».

The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. Telegram was founded in 2013 by two Russian brothers, Nikolai and Pavel Durov. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands.
