DJT could order the acting Secretary of the Army & Sec of the Treasury to facilitate a visit within the hour, as the Commander in Chief. He technically could do it to Hegseth who would then delegate to Sec of the Army. The Fort next to the Bullion Depository is an Army Installation, and the US Mint police (~approx 300 officers) guard the thing. The US Mint is obv a division of the Treasury. Instead of complaining online, get a one page directive drafted for signature.

The long term viability of the American republic requires those who are not bored with tedious details of the bureaucracy -- not bc they want to keep the bureaucracy (quite the opposite!) but bc the tediousness is required to drown the bureaucratic institutions in a bathtub (what needs to happen!)
