غلامرضا نوری قزلجه وزیر جهاد کشاورزی دولت پزشکیان در خبری مضحک اما واقعی اعلام کرده «سران قوا اجازه‌ای را به ستاد تنظیم بازار دادند که ما در مواقع استثنایی مانند مسئله سیب‌زمینی کنترل‌های لازم را انجام دهیم.»
قیمت سیب‌زمینی در روزهای گذشته به بیش از ۷۰ هزار تومان برای هر کیلو رسید. به این ترتیب سیب‌زمینی نیز از سفره بسیاری از خانوارهای کم‌درآمد حذف شده است.
اقدامات وزارت جهاد کشاورزی در بهم ریختن بازار سیب‌زمینی نقش داشت؛ صادرات سیب‌زمینی در حالی که دولت اقدامی برای ذخیره سیب‌زمینی در فصل زمستان نکرده، مهمترین عامل افزایش قیمت سیب‌زمینی در روزهای اخیر است. اکنون به نظر می‌رسد در شرایطی که وزارت جهاد کشاورزی جمهوری اسلامی حتی از مدیریت بازار سیب‌زمینی نیز ناتوان است، سران قوای حکومت کنترل قیمت سیب‌زمینی را در دستور کار قرار داده و برای آن «مجوز» صادر کرده‌اند!
