Möhren schälen und würfeln. In einem kleinen Topf mit Salzwasser bedeckt bei mittlerer Hitze zugedeckt für ungefähr 7 min dünsten. Kichererbsen in einem Sieb kalt abbrausen und abtropfen lassen. Knoblauch schälen und grob hacken. Möhren abgießen, abtropfen lassen und in ein hohes Rührgefäß geben. Kichererbsen, Knoblauch, Öl und Zitronensaft zufügen und alles mit dem Stabmixer zu einer feinen Paste pürieren. Mit dem Tahin verrühren und mit Salz und Kreuzkümmel abschmecken. Mit Paprikapulver bestreut servieren. Der Aufstrich hält sich in einem Schraubglas gekühlt 2-3 Tage.
