14 октября 2019 года был ликвидирован рязанский филиал (институт) Московского государственного университета культуры. Ещё до закрытия института, здание несколько лет круглогодично стояло в строительных лесах изаградительных лентах из-за обрушения фасадной штукатурки и лепнины, схода снега с крыши.
После закрытия института проходила информация о том, что этот объект культурного наследия будет передан в ведение Агентства по управлению ииспользованию памятников истории и культуры. Предполагалось, что до 2022 года будут проведены реставрационные работы и определена дальнейшаясудьба здания.
Но здание так и продолжает разрушаться. Прошу вас обратить внимание на судьбу этого здания, возможности сохранения и реставрации одного из красивейших зданий центра Рязани.
