Исполнительный директор компании «Синара - транспортные машины» Виталий Вотолевский сообщил, что двигатель разработан совместно челябинским заводом «Русские электрические двигатели».
Вотолевский уточнил, что проект создания поезда для ВСМ идет по графику.
По контракту СТМ должна поставить РЖД первые два головных образца поезда ВСМ и 41 поезд по контрактам с ГТЛК и «ВСМ-Две столицы». По словам Вотолевского, сейчас идет строительство новых корпусов для производства завода.
