Согласно документу, базы с информацией о гражданах должны находиться на территории России и не иметь копий за ее пределами. Исключения составят данные дипломатических работников и сотрудников российских СМИ, работающих за рубежом.
Документ призван, в том числе, дать возможность российским компаниям развивать собственные технологии и сервисы, пояснил сенатор Артем Шейкин.
