На фоне образовавшегося скандала с картиной в офисе ДУМ (она первая, среди иллюстраций к этом тексту), я решил выяснить - а что это за художник такой, Ильдар Акжигитов. И узнал интересное.

Живет в Пензе, профессиональный живописец, были персональные выставки, рисует много пейзажей и исторических картин. С большим почтением отзывается о Павле Рыженко.

Но при этом, очень хорошо видно, что он мусульманин и весьма гордится своей верой, что отражает во множестве картин (они дальше в подборке). Последняя из приведенных называется "Намаз в Париже". Ну то есть такая евразийщина.

Однако есть у Акжигитова и иная сторона, о которой далее.
