Объёмы закупок региона растут второй год подряд. Прогноз на сезон 2024/2025 - третий по величине уровень импорта с 2013/2014 гг.
В странах Африки к югу от Сахары кукуруза является основным товарным зерном, занимая видное место в рационе питания как на Западе, так и на юге, а также на Востоке, при этом ее потребление эквивалентно потреблению риса и пшеницы вместе взятых.
Хотя кукуруза является наиболее производимым зерном к югу от Сахары, в этом году производство снова замедлится и составит 84,6 млн тонн, что является самым низким показателем с 2020 года. Среди поставщиков кукурузы на рынок лидируют ЮАР, Нигерия и Эфиопия (45% от общего объема поставок).

Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores.
